Welcome to Kill The Silence — Start here
A survival system for high-functioning people who’ve been through hell and still show up.
You’re not here because of some algorithm or SEO trick. You’re here because something hit too fucking hard—and for once, instead of pushing it down, you decided to lean in.
This isn’t a newsletter. It’s not content. It’s not personal branding.
This is a survival system for high-functioning people who’ve lived through psychological warfare, therapist abuse, addiction, coercion, gaslighting, family betrayal, religious manipulation—and still show up to work. Still take care of people. Still perform. Still keep going.
But you're done doing it in silence. And you're not playing nice anymore.
What This Is:
Kill The Silence is a home for survivors who’ve outperformed while hiding everything.
You’ll find:
Essays that don’t coddle
Language for things you couldn’t explain until now
Tools that actually help you calm your nervous system and make decisions in the middle of chaos
Voice-first podcasts designed to regulate you while they validate you
If you’ve ever been told you’re too sensitive, too angry, too emotional, too intense—this space was built for you.
What You’ll Get Here:
1. Emotional Clarity I name what others dance around. Gaslighting. Therapist abuse. Narcissistic sabotage. Trauma responses disguised as ambition.
2. Tactical Tools Every product in the digital library is something I actually used to stay alive, stay sharp, or stay standing.
3. Real Recovery Not positivity culture. Not spiritual bypassing. Not “wellness.” Just real tools for people who can’t afford to fall apart.
4. Raw Storytelling That Hits Like a Memory Not content. Not copy. Not pity. Just the truth.
Who I Am:
I’m Cody Taymore.
I’m not a coach. I’m not a guru. I’m not here to “empower” you with vague advice.
I’m a survivor, builder, former addict, and high-performing professional who lost everything—twice—and rebuilt it in public.
I was a top financial advisor managing a $500M book of business. I trained hundreds of reps, built an elite sales track, and was on pace to run an entire region.
Then I got wrongfully fired by an insecure manager who retaliated when I reported internal abuse. I lost my entire career overnight. My license. My income. My identity.
At the same time, I was being manipulated by a therapist I had worked with for five years. She used the information I shared in therapy to control me, isolate me, and ultimately extort me out of over $126,000. Under the guise of "protection," she psychologically broke me down while convincing me it was for my safety.
I was gaslit, blackmailed, spiritually drained, and financially wrecked.
But I didn’t disappear.
I wrote.
Now I use my voice to name what others won’t. And I build systems to help survivors rebuild—without shame.
Why This Exists:
Kill The Silence isn’t a writing project. It’s my life’s work.
My mission is to give high-functioning survivors tools that actually help. Things I wish I had when I was unraveling quietly while still closing deals and answering emails.
What’s coming next:
I’m offering free digital tools for survivors—cheat sheets, nervous system maps, emotional regulation guides, and trauma recovery PDFs.
I’ll be launching the WAKE U.P.™ Sales System — my original method for trauma-informed, emotionally intelligent selling without manipulation.
I’m building Prescription Comedy, a faceless viral channel that turns the pain into punchlines. Because if you can laugh at it, you’ve survived it.
This is bigger than content. This is movement building. I’m here to publish the tools I didn’t have, build the recovery models I needed, and make sure no one drowns silently the way I almost did.
What You Won’t Find Here:
Fluff
Coaching language
Religious trauma-dressing
Generic advice from people who haven’t lived it
I won’t talk down to you. I won’t pretend healing is soft. I won’t lie to you to make it more palatable.
I don’t write for engagement. I write for the ones still hiding in plain sight.

Love this intro and I’m totally onboard for the long-haul! Thanks for this! 💙
Cody--love what you are doing here. As a trauma counselor and relationship trauma coach, I know you must name what is happening to heal. You allow people to name it out loud, and that matters. Too many counselors don't get it--and too many aren't able to decipher covert abuse in all its forms, from boardroom to bedroom. In addition, we must know that psychological flexibility is healing--we don't ever graduate from the process; we learn to walk with it hand in hand while pursuing what matters most.
