Fun fact, the ORIGINAL UGG Australia had to change their name to “UGG Since 1974” because UGG in America came along and took their name—and then sued them! Not a lot of people know about that, lol.
I had been buying UGG for years and I was wondering why their products were so different, then I realized that it wasn’t the same brand! UGG Since 1974 made a whole TikTok video about it.
This episode felt like sitting across from someone at 2am who’s finally ready to tell the truth—not for sympathy, but because silence was starting to rot the soul. Chaotic? Yes. Linear? No. But that’s healing. That’s real.
Hearing you name the crawling-under-your-skin feeling, the distrust, the moment things finally started to shift—it cracked something open. Not polished, but powerful. Sending this to a friend who needs to hear it too. Thank you for making space for the messy middle. You’re not alone, and because of this, neither are we.
Thanks for discussing your relationship with alcohol and how you don’t shame yourself for the dark moments. I went through substance abuse with different vices and had shamed myself the longest time. But hearing this helped me release shame in a way because I’m not that person and did come back from it.
I’m glad the police are taking your case seriously. My thought has been how the therapist’s child is in reality because parents with personality disorders do not have their children’s best interests at heart and often attempt to gain attention or other personal gains by using their children. You may not have only saved yourself but you very well could have helped the child. Love the hat and your cozy jacket. Btw, trauma has a profound effect upon the parasympathetic nervous system. It’s not an easy fix so try to have some patience with yourself. My naturopathic doctor gave me a breathing technique for when I feel overwhelmed. Breath in for 4 counts, hold for 7 counts, exhale for 8 counts. It helps when I repeat it several times. Also rubbing the pressure point behind the ears stimulates the vagus nerve and helps with regulation. Anything she has given me as a tool has been very helpful. Also, she told me that CPTSD and subsequent “panic” feelings shut down the digestive system so it is especially important to work on regulating the parasympathetic nervous system.

Yes!! 👌🏻👌🏻
The nervous system needs to relax and reset. Causes all kinds of problems.
