Wow, Cody! You have been through something no one should ever go through. And you came through it stronger, I think. Strong enough to tell us what to look out for in therapists as well. I also want to congratulate you for 5 years of sobriety. That’s no small feat! 🥳👍
Wow Cody everytime I hear about what you went through I just feel sick!! What a horrible human being this person was! And the fact she has a child is awful...
Its horrific! I think your incredibly brave to be here with everyone and
getting your story out there...so anyone who has ever been through somethings like this or situations equally horrific felt seen and heard!!
Your an incredible dude with alot of different talents! I hope that from this moment moving forward you and your beautiful girlfriend have a much more peaceful and happy life! Enjoy your time in Virginia and getting to be a passenger princess!!
Everything that your describing feels so personal to me! Even the parts where your talking about the difficulties of just taking care of yourself doing the bare minimum is so hard!!! Listening to you encourage others is so amazing!!
Very cool that you are going to do comedy. The world needs more laughter. When I left very ill people in 2012, I had hoped for more laughter, nature and more music in my life. I was not prepared for what is termed “post-separation abuse”, nor a decade of being hauled into court. I did not know about Flying Monkeys or long term stalking, etc. I still hope for more laughter. I will say that I am very happy to see that the dark circles are dissipating from under your eyes. Congratulations on eating better and taking good care of yourself. Gotta say that I love going to bed early now. I love it more than words can say! You deserve really good things, Mr. Taymore. You definitely “fucking matter”, as you put it. I wish you all the best and hope that you and your girlfriend have a lovely time in Virginia. Thank you for a very encouraging message.
I struggled making friends with myself, because the shame made me feel unworthy. Beautiful post, Cody!!
