These Are the 10 Things I Refuse to Compromise On Anymore
And I made something that’ll help you figure yours out too
Most people don’t have values.
They have survival patterns wearing a mask.
They hustle because they’re scared.
They achieve because they need validation.
They stay quiet because it’s safer than being fully seen.
That was me for a long time.
I wasn’t living by values. I was reacting. Managing chaos. Chasing safety. Earning my place.
It took a full collapse to even ask myself what mattered to me.
Not to other people. Not to the version of me I performed.
To me.
Now I know. And I protect them like my life depends on it. Because it does.
So here they are. No filter. No fluff.
What I Value Now:
Wealth
Not just money. Freedom. Options. I never want to stay in a toxic job, relationship, or situation because I can’t afford to leave. Wealth means I have power without control.
Authority
I run my life now. I don’t need permission. No more letting people speak for me or manage me. No more invisible leash. I get to lead myself.
Knowledge
I want to understand things deeply. I don’t repeat what I’m told. I investigate, learn, and contribute something valuable. I say the hard stuff. And I back it up.
Health
Sobriety. Peace. Mental clarity. A body and mind that feel like allies instead of enemies. I protect my health the way I used to protect my addictions.
Humor
Life is insane. Healing is insane. If I can’t laugh, I’m probably dissociating. Humor keeps me alive. It doesn’t fix everything, but it makes survival a little less heavy.
Family
Not always blood. The real ones. The safe ones. The people who know who I am and never ask me to shrink.
Comfort
I used to think I had to suffer to prove I was good. Now I want ease. I want a home that feels safe. A body that can relax. Comfort is not weakness. It’s nervous system recovery.
Acceptance
I spent too long trying to earn love through performance. Now I just want to be seen and accepted as I am. No mask. No audition. Just me.
Recreation
Fun is not optional. I want joy. Movement. Experiences. Memories that remind me why I did all the hard shit to begin with.
Creativity
This one keeps me breathing. Writing. Comedy. Building something new. Creativity is how I turn pain into something real.
That’s my list. These are the things I build everything else around now.
Work. Relationships. Projects. Boundaries. Goals. If it doesn’t line up — it doesn’t stay.
And here’s the part that matters to you:
I made something that’ll help you do the same.
It’s called The Personal Values Clarifier.
It’s free. It’s fast. It’s brutally honest.
You cut out over 50 core values. You sort them into three piles:
Not important to me
Important to me
Very important to me
Then you face what needs to change in your life to actually live by the stuff you claim matters.
This isn’t therapy. This is a reset.
If you’ve been performing someone else’s values, this is your way out.
Grab the tool here:
Use it. Share it. Give it to someone who’s lost themselves.
You can’t build a life that feels right if you don’t know what right even means for you.
This is how you find out.
