This is the second incident of predatory therapists I have read. They need to be exposed and their licenses taken away. I understand quite a few therapists became therapist because they had their own very pronounced mental health problems. There are many who got a firm grasp on that and wanted to help others and then I think there are many where it became a sick game of making money and passing on their dysfunction to others. I hope you've had recourse

Excellent points very well outlined. We need to remember that anyone can get a master's degree and ignore everything they were taught, corrupting the profession. Anyone can go to the police academy, but not every cop is a good person. Anyone can go to med school, even twisted psychos. We must be discerning and listen to our gut. This is why I say, "find a therapist that gets you," rather than, "go get therapy." Best to spot toxicity early and remember it's not you, it's them, and not everyone is bad but some people are always bad.

Truth. Stay on guard because therapist such as the ones he has listed due exist. As a therapist myself I have fell victim to two of these therapist. Some will even take money from the other party and share your private journal entries with opposing counsel.

This is valuable information. Even therapists that aren't all-out predatory can undermine us with therapy that isn't effective. There are bad ones. How they handle questions shows a lot. We are not to be made to doubt ourselves. We should not end up feeling worse instead of better. Thank you for getting this out there.

Amazing that this therapist is still in practice even after being reported to her licensing board! What she did constitutes gross malpractice!
